Film Making Essentials: A Hands-on Class in Digital Film Making
With Michael Wright
This is an exciting hands-on class where you will learn the skills of scriptwriting, storyboarding, and shot selection. Working in groups, you will develop short film projects and cover the basics of filming and editing techniques. Weather permitting, you will film short scripts outdoors to take advantage of the natural light.
Instructor: Professor Michael Wright is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Program in Creative Writing at the University of Tulsa where he teaches screenwriting and playwriting. He is the founder and moderator of the Fictional Characters Writing Collective. His plays, poems, and fiction have appeared in The Elvis Monologues, Scenes and Monologues for Mature Actors and Monologues from the Road just to name a few.
