The digital age has changed the way museums manage their rights and reproduction processes. Intellectual property issues can be confusing and contradictory. What are the laws? The Gilcrease Museum in partnership with the University of Tulsa will host a 90 minute webinar on Wednesday, June 9th 11:00 am CST. The webinar will discuss these and many other critical issues that museum administrators have to address on a daily basis, including:
•The point of acquisition – what exactly does a museum acquire •Does copyright cover more than just paintings? •How can you reproduce paintings on postcards and calendars to sell in your museum shop without breaching copyright?
Speaker Professor Robert Spoo (Click Here for Bio.) Professor, The University of Tulsa College of Law Of Counsel, Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP
